1. Legal Capacity & Contract Formation

Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding agreements. Any order placed at our showroom or finalized over our authorized WhatsApp channel constitutes an agreement of sale between you and Ravindra Sarees.

2. Handloom Authenticity & Natural Characteristic Disclaimer

Ravindra Sarees takes profound pride in authentic Indian handlooms sourced from traditional pit-loom weaver clusters in Varanasi, Chanderi, and Kanchipuram. Customers acknowledge and appreciate that:

• Artisanal Uniqueness: Handwoven textiles may exhibit subtle irregularities in weave, slubs in raw silk, or minor variations in zari motifs. These are not manufacturing defects; they are the authentic hallmark of human craftsmanship that distinguish handlooms from mass-produced power-loom textiles.
• Color Representation: While we capture photographs with genuine professional boutique lighting, digital screens (mobile displays, laptops) vary in color calibration. Slight variations in shade (such as crimson vs maroon, emerald vs peacock) may occur.
• Pure Zari & Tested Zari: Descriptions of zari (gold, silver, antique) correspond to tested handloom grade specifications as described on product tags.

3. Pricing, Invoicing & GST Compliance

In strict adherence to the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017:

• All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹).
• Every retail purchase is accompanied by a statutory tax invoice issued under GST Registration No. 09APLPG3290G1ZR.
• Prices are subject to revision without prior notice based on weaver procurement costs, raw mulberry silk fluctuations, and precious metal zari market rates. However, orders confirmed with an advance deposit are honored at the agreed price.

4. Showroom Appointments & WhatsApp Orders

Our website facilitates inquiries, appointments, and WhatsApp consultations:

• In-Store Trials: Appointment reservations for bridal trousseau consultations are free of charge and scheduled during store hours (10:30 AM to 9:00 PM).
• WhatsApp Video Consultations: Provided to outstation patrons to inspect saree falls and border detailing live. Orders confirmed via WhatsApp are secured only upon payment receipt through verified RBI-authorized banking methods.

5. Alterations, Blouse Tailoring & Customizations

Custom tailoring services are provided as a customer assistance convenience:

• Once a saree blouse fabric is cut, unstitched falls are attached, or can-can sizing alterations are performed on a bridal lehenga as per customer instructions, the garment is deemed customized and cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled.
• Customers are urged to verify measurements carefully during bridal trials or submit accurate size charts.

6. Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

In accordance with traditional Indian ethnic wear and bridal couture retail norms:

• In-Store Purchases: Sarees purchased at our Jhansi showroom may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in pristine, unworn condition with all original tags, folded folds, and tax invoice intact.
• Non-Exchangeable Items: Custom-stitched blouses, tailored bridal lehengas, pre-draped sarees, and discounted festive clearance items are strictly non-exchangeable.
• Damage in Transit (Courier Deliveries): In the rare instance of parcel damage during courier delivery, patrons must report the issue along with parcel unboxing photographs within 24 hours of delivery via WhatsApp (+91 9451267233) or email.

7. Intellectual Property & Trademarks

The names Ravindra Sarees, Ravindra Cloth Store, our heritage story, logo motifs, curated catalog descriptions, and bespoke visual imagery are the proprietary intellectual property of the firm. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, 1957 of India.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law, Ravindra Sarees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or courier transit delays beyond our reasonable control (e.g. natural calamities, transport strikes, or state holidays). Our maximum liability for any product sold shall not exceed the invoice price paid for that item.

These Terms & Conditions, and any contract formed between the customer and Ravindra Sarees, shall be governed exclusively by the substantive laws of India. Any legal proceedings, claims, or disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive territorial jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
